But do also keep in mind that around here the Corsairs and Paladins... They don't always get along for no reason other than being on opposing factions. The locals in particular. So be careful, okay?
my skateboard gimme a sec probably easier to show ya
[The next message is an image of a well-worn skateboard, held up to show the wheels and the deck beneath, adorned with a skull and graffiti motif on it. ]
[The messages stop and Beat transitions to video instead to help demonstrate. He has the hood up and a black face mask covering the lower half of his face, his blond hair seemongly obscuring one eye.]
Gimme one sec.
[He finds a place to prop up his shellphone, enough to see his demonstration after he steps back. Stepping on the board, he pushes off against the ground, both feet planted on it as he moves past the area seen on camera before coming back the way he cane. Shifting his direction again, he rides towards it, doing a trick on the way, hitting the edge of the shellphone. A curse is heard as he picks up the device.]
Like that. Last part ain't needed but, you know. [He couldn't help but show off.]
[Oh hey, it's nice to finally get to set a face to the name! ...More or less. If nothing else, this gives Heizou a much clearer understanding of who he's been talking to this whole time. And it definitely reinforces the impression he'd had that someone like Beat really wouldn't have done anything to earn himself a serious bounty. Or at least not one that Heizou might pick up himself.
The display is impressive, too; he's never seen anyone using a board with wheels like that before. He even applauds a little when Beat does that trick. The shellphone may have gotten hit and all, but that doesn't make it any less worthy of praise.]
Amazing~! Are those, ah, skateboards very common where you come from?
